Fave ever gig
Creamfields 2008- I was so incredibly nervous (biggest gig I’d done by a mile). We were due on at 1pm so got up at 10am and started drinking heavily to ease to nerves. Got so shit-faced I passed out in the middle of the crowd at the main stage immediately after our set. Lost my wallet and a whole lot of dignity. Photos are on facebook if you fancy viewing my shame. Quote from security (so I’m told)- ‘you’ll have to move your mate… people are throwing bottles at him!’

Top 5 gigs ever (bands, not DJs)
Morrissey- M.E.N, May 2004 (Comeback show- immense!)
Arcade Fire, Leadmill Sheffield, September 2005
Tom Waits- Teatro degli Arcimboldi, Milan July 2008 (I see this as in BC/AD… before Tom/after Tom. I changed that day)
Nick Cave & The Bad Seeds- Sheffield, 2009 (great gig but mainly because we interviewed Jim Sclavunos and hung out with Nick and The Seeds afterwards. Still the oddest night of my life. Did that actually happen?)
Elbow w/Halle, July 2009. So beautiful! Magic!
